Rezurrection, the all new Zombie-packed DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops is launching on Playstation 3 and PC next Thursday, and for the upcoming release Activision and Treyarch have released a second live action Zombies trailer.

The great minds at the Call of Duty Zombie Labs invite you to take a look at phase 2 of their low gravity undead research.

Watch Zombies come alive in the trailer below, then celebrate the release of Rezurrection with Double XP on all platforms from the 22nd-25th.

Rezurrection comes with a brand new Zombies level called Moon, four  of the re-mastered classic maps from World at War, a full length Zombies soundtrack, and a moon theme. Those who already have the classic maps, which were included in the Hardened or Prestige editions of Black Ops, can download the map pack for free, while others can purchase via the online store for 1200 Microsoft Points.

If you’ve already downloaded the classic Zombies maps, head over to the Zombies menu to download Rezzurection for free. Select either ‘Splitscreen’ or ‘Xbox LIVE’  and select the new menu option that reads ‘Free Zombies Level.’ You can also redeem it by re-downloading it via the ’Download History’, multiplayer ‘Store‘ or the ‘Game Marketplace.’ For more information, see the Rezurrection FAQ.

A release date for the Playstation 3 and PC is not yet known, but expect it sometime next month as previous map pack. Stay tuned for more info.

The Rezurrection map pack releases first on Xbox LIVE in just 3 days, with four classic World at War maps, a brand new Zombies level named the “Moon,” a 20-song soundtrack, and a new dashboard theme.

Treyarch has released details on the 6 achievements that will be included with the map pack. According to X360 Achievements, there will also be a seventh secret achievement along with the previous six, bringing the total earning to 250G.

• Cryogenic Slumber Party (75G) – In Moon, complete Richtofen’s grand scheme.
• One Small Hack for Man (5G) - In Moon, hack something.
• One Giant Leap (5G) – In Moon, become trapped in the Receiving Area and free yourself through resurrection in co-op.
• Perks in Spaaaaace (30G) – In Moon, purchase every Perk in one game.
• Fully Armed and Operational (25G) – In Moon, acquire 3 Pack-A-Punched weapons at the same time.
• Ground Control (10G) – In Moon, prevent each excavator from breaching the base in one game.
• Big Bang Theory (100G) – In Moon, gain sweet, sweet, revenge.  (Secret Achievement)

A sneak peek of the live-action trailer was shown at the end of the preview trailer for Rezurrection, showing a scene with a real-looking crawler-like creature and a ‘COD Z L’ logo, which we now know spells out ‘Call of Duty Zombie Lab.’ Take a look at some new gameplay footage from the Zombies pack in the video below.

Activision has just announced the upcoming “Rezurrection” map pack with the recent public release of their financial report. It will release Tuesday, August 23rd on Xbox LIVE for 1200 Microsoft Points.

The map pack will include a brand new Zombies experience…on the Moon, along with the four re-mastered Zombies levels from World at War: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese.

This all-Zombies content pack hurls players into orbit with “Moon,” the climax to the Zombies saga, as well as the most challenging and thrilling adventure yet. (Intel)

Also included is an extended version of the Zombies soundtrack which contains three new tracks never before available for purchase and a new Zombies Moon theme.

If you have already purchased the Hardened or Prestige editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops, you will receive all of the contents of the map pack free, including the soundtrack and theme, as you already have redeemed the four upgraded classic maps. Details on how this will work will be revealed later on, as we get closer to the release.

To commemorate release, Treyarch will be hosting Double XP over Labor Day weekend.
